Company Growth

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Above and Beyond Concepts. The company was registered in April 1999 where we first started operating out of a house. ABC has grown to become one of the largest IBM Lotus focussed Software Partners with the most Certified Lotus Professionals in Africa.
More recently ABC has converted to a South African-registered Proprietary Limited Company and appointed a board of directors to manage and better govern the company.
ABC has been hard at work defining our strategy for the next few years and in doing so has re-structured and formed new departmental divisions in order to accommodate the company's growth and diversification of products and services. Five divisions now support our strategy to ensure that we continue providing a comprehensive service.
These five key areas are:-
- ABC Plan - Project Management,
- ABC Build - Solution Development,
- ABC Run - Maintenance and Support Services,
- ABC Live - Internet Hosting & Security,
- ABC Assist - Customer Care.
ABC Build has been modelled from the ABC Projects team consisting predominantly of software developers utilised for projects. Maintenance and support services driven through customer service level agreements form the core of ABC Run. ABC Live is a new and exciting division which recently started that provides comprehensive web development, products and internet hosting services. With the world moving to "cloud computing" and both Microsoft and Lotus having launched their own hosted initiatives, the timing was perfect for ABC to enter this space where we now offer hosted collaborative solutions as an extension to our services.
This new structure along with our governance drive will ensure the company's growth through these challenging times and become a solid foundation for the company's development growth into the future.
